It is essential that performance initiatives are measured in order to determine their success or failure. Outline two performance metrics that an HR manager might use to measure or monitor a performance management initiative.
Managers must carefully balance how to (1) correct negative performance behaviors and (2) reinforce positive performance behaviors.
In your experience, what are the most effective approaches and how important is the situation/context? Consider, also, how a leader might provide positive reinforcement to a staff member who received a critically low-performance measurement score.
